WELCOME to our blog!!! We are so glad you decided to stop by. We will use the blog to provide in detail updates on our training progress and race recaps! We will also post detailed recipes that you will love to try! We hope that you enjoy what you read and that you will be able to use it in your life. Our goal is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle and motivate you on your own personal journey!
JacKed and Fit Girls (JFG) was started based on this idea by Kristin & Jessica. Our name was inspired by our first names and our desire for a fit lifestyle.
Kristin first began working out solely by running to get in shape for
her wedding a few years ago. Just recently she began incorporating
strength training into her workouts and is loving every minute of it.
She completed her first triathalon in August 2011 and ran the MCM in October 2011. She will be competing in both again this year.
Jessica began working out a few years ago and recently completed the
Jamie Eason LiveFit program with Kristin which inspired her to share her
journey with others. She has recently began running and biking and is
set to complete her first 5k in September.
